1,700 residents in Bee County and San Patricio County are without power as Hurricane Harvey is set to make landfall.
An email from representatives of the San Patricio Electric Company says as of 7:00 pm Friday night, 1,700 are without power and are waiting for the storm to pass before starting any restoration efforts.
“We are expecting significant damage and extended power outages in our service territory due to Hurricane Harvey.
