SAN PATRICIO COUNTY -
From the San Patricio Electric Cooperative, Inc.
To all media, employees and the public,
This is what we can confirm at this time:
San Patricio Electric crews and contract crews are out working to restore power as quickly and safely as possible. They have been able to restore power to a little over 1,200 people so far. We have about 6,900 meters without power as of 5 p.m.
There is extensive damage throughout our service area, and it will take time to repair our system and fully restore power to everyone. Some people will experience lengthy outages because of the damage, especially those in the Beeville and Skidmore areas.
Our goal is to ensure the safety of our employees and members while working diligently to restore power to every member. Crews will be working around the clock to make repairs and get power back on to those affected by Hurricane Harvey.
We ask that customers call in any outages or down poles and wires to 888-740-2220.
The most up-to-date information will be posted on our website: www.sanpatricioelectric.org and our Facebook and Twitter pages.
