Here's where to donate for Hurricane Harvey victims in Corpus Christi

Veterans Memorial High School

The high school will be collecting items from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Friday. At 3 p.m. each day, a crew of teachers, coaches and parents takes the items to Rockport. 

"We are overwhelmed with how the community here has responded," principal Kim James said. "Our goal is to definitely do what we can to help our neighboring communities."

Here's what they need:

  • Mosquito spray
  • Heavy duty trash bags
  • Batteries
  • Flashlights
  • Toilet paper
  • Water

Location: 3750 Cimarron Blvd.

Church Unlimited

The church was designated as a donation station on Sunday. It will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. 

"As soon as things come in we are making our way to the affected areas," Pastor Nate Dooley said. "Everyone is coming together and we are not going to church this week. This week we will be the church."

Here's what they need:

  • Toiletries are a priority
  • Non-perishable food
  • Water
  • Heavy duty trash bags
  • Gallon-sized freezer bags
  • Paper towels
  • Toilet paper

Location: 7451 Bay Area Drive.

King High School

The high school will be accepting donations from noon to 7 p.m. Tuesday at B&J's Brew Pub and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the school's front entrance.

Here's what they need:

  • Diapers
  • Baby formula
  • Baby food
  • Baby wipes
  • Baby shampoo
  • Toiletries
  • Water
  • First aid kits
  • H-E-B gift cards and other gift cards. 

Location: At the pizzeria, 6662 S Staples St., on Tuesday and at the high school, 5225 Gollihar Road, on Wednesday.

Ray High School

The school will be taking donations Wednesday from 10 a.m. to noon at the school's entrance.

The donations will be for families from Aransas Pass and CCISD families in need. Items will be donated to Communities In Schools to assure the items will be given to students and families in need.

  • Trash bags
  • Paper towels
  • Toilet paper
  • School supplies
  • Water
  • Deodorant
  • Toothpaste
  • Soap
  • Shampoo/conditioner 

Location: 1002 Texan Trail
