Avalanche Food Group’s Twin Peaks Restaurants are building relief distribution centers called Donation Stations, in Corpus Christi, Kirby, and Beaumont to house semi truck loads of personal necessities and supplies donated by Michigan residents from the #Detroit2Houston campaign for Hurricane Harvey victims.

The trucks from Michigan are expected to arrive sometime tomorrow, Friday September 8th, at Twin Peaks Restaurants in Corpus Christi, Kirby, and Beaumont.  AFG desperately needs volunteers to unload and organize the supplies in order to have the Twin Peaks Donation Station in Corpus Christi open to the public from 9:00am - 4:00pm this Saturday and Sunday (Sept 9 & 10).  People can sign up to volunteer at www.Avalanchefoodgroup.com

Avalanche Food Group has been working with Michigan native and Boost One Marketing owner Sherrie Handrinos, who splits her time between clients in Houston and Detroit, and has been in Houston since Harvey made landfall.  Handrinos organized a supply drive back in Detroit called #Detroit2Houston, hoping to fill a semi truck with necessities for Texas residents displaced by Harvey.  Her group in Michigan collected enough supplies to fill eight semis over the Labor Day weekend!

Avalanche Food Group (AFG) owners, John, Joe and Ricky Rosa, stepped up and volunteered to build Donation Stations at three of their Twin Peaks Restaurants to house supplies from Detroit and allow area victims to come and shop for whatever they need!

Twin Peaks Restaurants will also open Donation Stations this weekend in Kirby; at 4521 Lomitas St., Houston, and in Beaumont; at 3805 Interstate 10 South, Beaumont, for additional supplies coming from Detroit.
