Texas Cop Trolls Driver Who Couldn't Park Between The Lines

A police officer in Texas decided to have a little bit of fun when he noticed a Dodge Ram was parked across two parking spaces and had encroached on a handicapped spot. Instead of writing the driver a citation, which could result in a fine of up to $200, the unidentified officer grabbed a pen a paper and made a flyer with a picture of the Southlake Police Department's patch and a note asking them practice staying in between the lines by coloring in the logo.

“We noticed you had a little trouble staying in the lines when you parked next to a handicapped space," the officer wrote. "Maybe if you practice coloring our patch and staying in the lines here, it could help you avoid citations in the future?”

The Southlake Department of Public Works shared photos of the coloring page on Facebook and advised motorists to do a better job of parking so they "don't have to end up going to FedEx Kinko's and making like thousands of copies of these."
