Pentagon Approves 2,100 Troops To Border

More troops are headed to the border with Mexico. The Pentagon announced today it has approved a request to deploy 21-hundred troops in support of President Trump's immigration crackdown. One-thousand will come from the Texas National Guard and the rest are active duty troops.  Pentagon officials say they will help with tasks like logistical support and aerial surveillance. There are currently about 45-hundred troops on the border.
