A-Rod Is At The Inauguration And Twitter Has All The Jokes About It

Many of the most notable American politicians attended Joe Biden's presidential inauguration on Wednesday (January 20) in Washington, D.C.

Alex Rodriguez was also there and Twitter took notice.

The baseball legend, commentator and supportive spouse attended the event with fianceé Jennifer Lopez scheduled to perform a rendition of 'This Land Is Your Land.' Still, many Twitter users were confused as to why Rodriguez was among the attendees, which included former Presidents Barack Obama, George W. Bush and Bill Clinton, among numerous other current and former high-ranking officials.

The former New York Yankee star was shown on CNN's broadcast of the inauguration nearby former President Obama, which led to hilarious responses from Twitter users.

"A Rod doesn't know a damn person there. lookin like," wrote Vice contributor Trey Smith (@slimihendrix) with the "they don't know" party meme.

"I just saw A-Rod standing next to President Obama and momentarily forgot that JLo is performing. Haven’t been that confused since Pete Davidson was at Aretha Franklin’s funeral," Saeed Jones (@theferocity) shared.

Here are some of the most notable A-Rod related Inauguration Day tweets as of Wednesday morning.
