It Would be a Colossal Mistake For the Steelers to Keep Ben Roethlisberger

Pittsburgh Steelers v New England Patriots
Rob Parker: “It’ll be a colossal mistake if the Steelers bring back Ben Roethlisberger. Whether he comes back healthy or not, it’s time to move on from Big Ben. The clock is ticking and he’s run out of time. Cut bait and take Mike Tomlin with you.” (Full Rant at Bottom of Page)

Listen to Rob Parker explain why he believes the Pittsburgh Steelers should move from two-time Super Bowl winning quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, who has been the franchise’s most coveted asset since he was drafted in 2007.

It was announced on Monday that the 37-year-old Roethlisberger will miss the rest of 2019 season after suffering a season-ending elbow injury.

Roethlisberger released a statement saying he intends to play out the rest of his contract, that will pay him through the end of the 2021 season, but Rob thinks the team should part ways with Big Ben and head coach Mike Tomlin ASAP, and begin a new era.

With the old guard of Antonio Brown, Le’Veon Bell, and James Harrison having moved on, Rob thinks this injury is the perfect excuse to turn the page, much like the Giants just decided upon with Eli Manning.

Check out the animated rant below as Rob demands that the city of Pittsburgh accept that a now damaged Big Ben is washed up.
