US-POLITICS-TRUMP

There was a large crowd in downtown Dallas waiting for President Donald Trump's arrival in North Texas. The president is holding a Keep America Great rally at the American Airlines Center this evening. His campaign is doing a "45 Fest" outside the Double-A C which includes foot trucks, live music, and video screens. The rally is expected to start at 7 p.m.

As he arrived in Texas, the President said he was happy about Turkey's agreement to a ceasefire in northern Syria. He called it incredible and praised the work of Vice President Mike Pence and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. Pence and Pompeo met with Turkish President Recep Erdogan in Ankara. Turkey started attacking Kurds in northern Syria after Trump announced the withdrawal of U.S. troops from the region.
