Four Teens, Two Accused Of Murder, Escape Custody In Nashville

Authorities in Nashville, Tennessee, are searching for four teenagers who escaped a juvenile detention facility. Two of the teens are accused of murder, and officials warned they should be considered dangerous.

The four teens were on work detail when their supervisor left to break up a fight in another area of the facility. Once they realized they were alone, the teens got into an elevator and rode it to the ground floor, where they walked through multiple doors and exited the detention center. Officials did not realize they were missing for 35 minutes.

The two murder suspects were identified as Decorrius Wright, 16, and Morris Marsh, 17. Wright is accused of fatally shooting 24-year-old Kyle Yorlets in an alley behind his home in February, while Wright was charged for allegedly killing 19-year-old Charles Easley in April.

The third teen who escaped is 17-year-old Brandon Caruthers. He was locked up in connection with an armed robbery case from August 2018. The fourth escaped teen was identified as 15-year-old Calvin Howse, who was arrested on November 21 on charges of auto theft and gun possession.

Anyone who might have information about the escapees is asked to call Nashville's Emergency Communications Center at 615-862-8600.
