Former White House Doctor Wants To Represent Texas District In Congress

Ronny Jackson

Former White House chief physician Ronny Jackson is going to campaign for Congress in Texas. The retired Navy rear admiral filed his paperwork Monday in Austin to run in the Lone Star State's 13th District. Jackson is running as a Republican for the seat held by retiring Representative Mac Thornberry. Trump nominated Jackson last year to head up the Department of Veterans Affairs, but Jackson withdrew his name over professional misconduct allegations.
