The U.S. Border Patrol is moving forward with possible discipline for those employees who failed to get vaccinated against COVID-19. The Monitor reports that Border Patrol officials will send a letter of counseling to all employees who chose not to get vaccinated. Employees who receive the letter will have five days to comply with the vaccine mandate or face possible discipline. About 80-percent of the Border Patrol's workforce complied with the mandate, while about 16-percent of all employees requested an exemption.
