Governor Greg Abbott will be in South Texas today to hold a border security briefing. Governor Abbott, Attorney General Ken Paxton and Department of Public Safety Director Steve McGraw will host the meeting in Weslaco. Attorney generals from Alaska, Arkansas, Florida, Indiana, Missouri, Montana, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Utah and West Virginia are also expected to attend. Before the briefing, Paxton will make an announcement with the other attorney generals at South Texas International Airport in Edinburg.
