Last night, I was helping with coverage of the election results on NewsRadio 1360 KKTX. Here are my notes on the results, focused on Coastal Bend area races. Note these are 'unofficial' results, until declared official. If anything changes, we will update. - Big Frank (K-99)

Texas House District 34, Republican Denise Villalobos flips the seat defeating Solomon Ortiz Jr.

Texas Senate District 27...Republican Adam Hinojosa declared victory over Democrat incumbent Morgan Lamantia. My last check he led 49.39% to 48.28% with 95% reporting

Corpus Christi Mayor Paulettte Guajardo will face Councilman Michael Hunter in a runoff; neither candidate received 50% of the votes; Guajardo 47.64% and Hunter 34.64%

Jim Wells County elects a new Sherriff as Joseph "Guy" Barker defeated incumbent Sheriff Danny Bueno; Barker the first Republican Sheriff in Jim Wells county for the first time in 4 decades
