Trump Picks Ratcliffe As CIA Director

A former Texas congressman is President-elect Donald Trump's choice for CIA director. John Ratcliffe served from 2015 to 2020 as the U.S. representative for the state's 4th Congressional District, in the Red River area. Ratcliffe then served as Director of National Intelligence from 2020 to 2021. Trump said Ratcliffe was "telling the truth to the American people" at a time when 51 intelligence officials were falsely claiming Hunter Biden's laptop was Russian disinformation.
