RED HEN. A Favor?

Maxine Waters who told MSNBC the public should turn on and harass White House officials.I say go for it, Maxine.

Fan those flames.A Virginia restaurant made it very clear that White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders is not welcome. Sanders posted on her Twitter page over the weekend that when she visited the Red Hen restaurant in Lexington, Virginia, she was asked to leave because she works for President Trump. She did.

“Her actions say far more about her than about me,” Sanders writes. “I always do my best to treat people, including those I disagree with, respectfully and will continue to do so.” Fast forward, and owner Stephanie Wilkinson tells the "Washington Post" her staff was concerned that Sanders was dining there. According to Wilkinson, several of her employees are gay and upset that Sanders had defended President Trump's efforts to ban transgender people from the military.

Wilkinson says she asked her staff if they wanted her to ask Sanders to leave and they all said yes. Wilkinson says she took Sanders aside and explained that the restaurant has certain standards to uphold and politely asked her to leave. She said Sanders went back to her table, picked up her things and left. Wilkinson added Sanders' party offered to pay, but she told them it was on the house.

On a related note, an eatery in southern New Jersey is trying to make it clear they never kicked out a member of the Trump administration. After Sanders was booted from The Red Hen in Virginia, the New Jersey "Red Hen" was slammed on social media and have been forced to explain they are in no way affiliated with the Virginia establishment. In a statement, they continue that they “welcome all people, regardless of race, religion, views or opinions.”
