The 58th Annual Texas Jazz Festival

The 58th annual Texas Jazz Festival is this weekend. I should have posted this a lot earlier cause you folks from out of town would really love this. Been going on for 58 years. A lot of local artists show up. Not that I'm an artist but,,,,,,,,Carl Lewis and The Deadbeats played there 6 or 7 years when I was playin Sax with the Band. Got to play with Eddie and Bobby Galvan Deeanne Galvan The late Eddie Galvan and his brother Bobby Galvan. You can drop in on Bobby at the place he and his brothers built and made famous. The Galvan Music Store/The Galvan Ballroom. You want some WWII musical history? Drop by the store, any day but Wednesday....(I'll add more to this later today, pressed for time right now)
