(Bloomberg) -- Train 1 at new export terminal in CorpusChristi, Texas, started chilling natural gas into liquid to shipabroad at 7:30am Central time, co. says in email.
* NOTE: LNG production is months ahead of schedule, allowing Cheniere’s marketing arm to sell volumes during peak winter and months before supply contracts are due to start
** Date of first commercial delivery under long-term agreement begins June 2019; annual fixed fees from Pertamina, Endesa, Iberdrola will generate ~$550m/year
* NOTE: $15b plant is Cheniere’s second LNG export site and the third in the continental U.S.; co. produced the first LNG at the fifth train at its Sabine Pass facility in Louisiana in late October
