> Runoff Election Candidates:
> Good morning. To follow is information on the upcoming runoff election.
> 1) Runoff Election Day - The runoff election will take place on Tuesday, December 18. We are in the process of finalizing the polling locations with the County Clerk’s office and will let you know as soon as those sites are determined.
> 2) Early Voting Dates and Times – Please see final dates and times below. We are still in the process of finalizing the polling locations with the County Clerk’s office.
> Saturday, December 8 – Sunday, December 9: 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.>> Monday, December 10 – Friday, December 14: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
> 3) Special Council Meeting on November 19, 2018 – The Council will be holding a special council meeting on Monday, November 19 at 10:00 a.m. to canvassing the results of the November 6 general and special election. This is a process required in the Election Code in which the governing body accepts the results and makes them “official”. Additionally, the Council will be calling for the runoff election on December 18.
> 4) Runoff Election Calendar – Please see attached runoff election calendar. It will also be posted to the City’s election webpage. Note that the drawing for the order of the names on the ballot is scheduled on Tuesday, November 20 at 10:00 a.m. in the Council Chambers. Also, an additional campaign finance report related to the runoff election is due on December 10
