Rep. Cloud to Host Information Session for Students Interested in a Military Career
VICTORIA—Congressman Michael Cloud invites all high school students in the area to his Victoria Office to meet with Tanner Strawbridge, a current midshipman at the United States Naval Academy. From 10-11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 21, Midshipman Strawbridge will be available to offer his advice on a career in military service and applying to any of the five U.S. Military Academies.
Midshipman Strawbridge is a member of Naval Academy’s Boxing team and serves as an Academic Sergeant for his company. Some of his favorite experiences at the Academy have included hiking over 100 miles in the Alaskan wilderness, guiding groups of boy scouts in the remote wilderness between Minnesota and Canada, and living on a ship for a month.
The Victoria office is located in the Heritage Mark building at 5606 N Navarro St (the corner of Navarro and Salem)
