The Texas Chefs Association and The Chefs of the Coastal Bend are hosting Steak In Our Future. Three guest Chefs will be paired with students and young culinarians preparing nine different beef courses served in three rounds of plating and beer from Lazy Beach Brewery. The guest Chefs are Santiago Delacruz from The Woodlands Country Club, Eva Barrios, CEC from austin County Club and Chef Larry Delgado, Chef/Owner of Salt, House Wine Bistro and Salome on Main in McAllen. There will be live cooking demos and challenges. The dinner is done in the style of the old beefsteaks in New York.
This event is on Sunday, May 19th from 6-9pm at the Courtyard at Gaslight Square. Tickets at $75 and can be purchased by calling 361-208-7270.
Proceeds from this event benefit the Michael Stephans Education Scholarship Fund and the Chefs of the Coastal Bend.
