"Why Can't Nueces GOP just tell Guy Williams No?"
Former judge Guy Williams has taken steps to run for office again. His widely known history of temperament problems sound disqualifying, but aren't.
They include belligerence toward police officers, paramedics, attorneys in his former court, and other drivers on the road; displaying a handgun on more than one occasion; and groping three women at a party â one of them another judge. On Monday he was convicted in a jury trial of public intoxication, a misdemeanor.
Nueces County Republican Chairman Mike Bergsma said,
"I feel Sad that he's running."
