Hidalgo County September Weather Event Update: Call Center Open, Sandbag

The Hidalgo County Call Center is activated and answering residents calls for assistance regarding weather related issues and sandbag distribution. Residents can call (956) 292-7750. The current shelter open is at the Donna Recreation Center located at 307 Miller Avenue in Donna, Texas.

As a reminder, it is against the law to drive around barricaded roads. If you see a flooded road, Turn Around Don’t Drown. The following road closures have been reported:

Road Closures Pct. 1 – The intersection of FM 493 and Stites Road in Donna is closed due to construction.
